EVELYN Z.B.​

 

Trained as an actress, she is currently the Director of the Pitouch Company , being one of the promoters of the theatrical avant-garde. Since its foundation, the company has premiered at least a dozen of plays of her authorship and direction, and has received several awards and recognitions.

 

Her creative search in constant experimentation pursues the expansion of the theater, its languages, limits and interactions, including geo graphical and linguistic ones, gathering all the artistic expressions on stage, and venturing to the exchange of knowledge, thoughts and creations strongly linked to theatrical and artistic research, thus building an et work of exchange betweenFrance and Latin America, where its works have been presented.

 

The themes she tackles with her company are the results of her observation and concerna bout the contemporary world, treated according to the “Touch Pitouch” characterized by its strength, radicality and even provocation. Her proposals challenge the fourth wall and the conventional scenarios, in order to link the audience with artisanal stage technologies and other more sophisticated ones that definitely do not leave them indifferent.
